Overview
As a Staff Electrical Engineer, you will lead FPGA development within an embedded control system involving microcontrollers, motors, and sensors. You will be responsible for RTL coding, simulation, hardware integration, and cross-functional collaboration with electrical, mechanical, and firmware teams. Responsibilities
Analyze and document design requirements Perform RTL coding, simulation, and FPGA implementation Assign FPGA pins based on hardware design Develop control algorithms for motor drivers and analog front-end circuits Conduct hardware bring-up and troubleshooting Support firmware integration and system testing Apply risk and failure analysis techniques Ensure compliance with regulatory and QMS standards Required Skills & Abilities
Proficiency in FPGA design and mainstream development tools Strong RTL coding skills in VHDL and Verilog Experience with embedded protocols (I2C, SPI, UART) Solid understanding of electronics and circuit design Skilled in lab instrumentation and troubleshooting Strong communication and collaboration skills Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering Minimum 8 years of relevant experience (or 6 years with a Master’s degree) Experience with embedded MCU hardware, motor drivers, signal conditioning, and biomedical sensor interfaces is a plus Additional Information
