Controls Engineering – Sourcing Requisition

Department: Propulsion Controls & Software Join Our Team: Stellantis is seeking experienced engineering professionals to join our growing Propulsion Controls & Software organization. We are actively sourcing talent for the following areas: Engine & Hybrid Propulsion Controls Development High Voltage Charging & Energy Management Controls Systems Requirements Engineering Technical Product Management for Controls Key Responsibilities

Design and implement advanced control algorithms for propulsion systems using MATLAB/Simulink and Embedded C++. Lead the development of supervisory charging and discharging strategies (V2L, V2H, V2V) for electrified vehicles. Define and manage system and software requirements for powertrain control features. Conduct Controls Assessments and develop DFMEAs for assigned features. Execute MIL, SIL, HIL, and vehicle-level testing to validate control functionality. Lead Agile ceremonies, define technical roadmaps, and track/report key performance indicators (KPIs). Ensure AECD compliance and support emissions certification processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across calibration, software, systems, and product management. Analyze CAN logs, perform root cause analysis, and resolve technical issues. Represent the team in technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders. Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Engine or hybrid propulsion controls development. Embedded C++ programming and AUTOSAR software development (e.g., dSPACE SystemDesk, RTE). Supervisory control of high-voltage charging systems. Systems engineering, requirements authoring, and DFMEA development. Strong understanding of vehicle and powertrain systems. Proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, ETAS INCA, CANalyzer, and HIL tools. Demonstrated technical problem-solving ability and leadership in cross-functional environments. Preferred Qualifications

Master’s or PhD in Engineering with a focus on power electronics, internal combustion engines, or energy systems. Experience with electric vehicle charging standards and energy-oriented plant modeling. Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and tools such as DOORS and Visio. Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay). Key traits for success: Action-Oriented, Comfortable with Ambiguity, Customer-Focused, and Strong Problem-Solving skills.
