SUMMARY:
The Disassembly Technician is responsible for disassembling fuel, oil, or air accessories. The technician performs maintenance tasks on aviation accessories in accordance with technical data provided in the Component Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins, Service Information Letters, Airworthiness Directives, Regulations, and Quality procedures approved by the FAA. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Disassemble fuel, oil, or air accessories (excluding fuel controls and governors) following the instructions in the Component Maintenance Manuals. Use hand tools daily. Use specialty tools for precision measurements daily. Read and interpret technical data and drawings. Document maintenance records of all repair work performed. Understand and comply with quality and safety requirements. Provide findings for detailed inspection as part of preliminary inspection. Identify extra or missing parts and note for further processing. Contribute to team KPIs to support broader objectives. Perform other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED. 1-2 years of relevant/technical experience. Mechanical aptitude. Flexible to changing workloads and priorities based on customer needs. Maintain an organized and productive work environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and data. Basic computer skills. PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: 2-3 years of relevant/technical experience in the aviation industry. High mechanical aptitude preferred.
