Supports teams developing and implementing our internal Kubernetes platform offering. Collaborates with the Platform and Release Engineering Team and other teams on release processes and automation. Improves reliability, performance, and feature set of the Kubernetes Platform based on internal customer needs. Supports the career and developmental growth of Platform and Release Engineers. Ensures platform and release engineering project quality and timeliness. Develops roadmap with Director and helps define strategic direction for Platform and Release Engineering. Provides constructive feedback to team members and collaborates with Senior and Staff Engineers on technical strategy. Coordinates with other engineering teams to align efforts across the organization. Empowers and encourages team members to perform at their best and equips them with tools to be successful. Requirements
BS in Computer Science or equivalent or relevant work experience. 3+ years of relevant experience in a leadership role. Proven knowledge in working with Kubernetes on premise or in hybrid clouds. Skills & Knowledge
Experience with Kubernetes and Cloud Native Infrastructure. Experience with Private Cloud and Public Cloud Environments (ideally AWS). Experience with the entire software development life cycle. Ability to support engineers with solving problems in their build, test, and release pipelines. Additional Attributes

The base pay range may vary based on hybrid working policy and job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role is eligible for SIE’s benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, wellness program, employee discounts) and may be eligible for a bonus.
