sign-on bonus! The Environmental Services Aide is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing rooms and furnishings in assigned work areas, following established policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hospital. Responsibilities
Clean and disinfect patients' rooms, bathrooms, furniture, and other areas of the facility in a timely manner. Deliver linen and remove trash from assigned areas. Sweep and mop patients' rooms. Maintain an adequate stock of materials, supplies, and chemicals on the cleaning cart and in the janitor's closet. Perform daily floor care procedures consistently. Ensure equipment is kept clean and polished; carts, tanks, and buckets are emptied and rinsed at shift end. Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned according to hospital policies and procedures. Adhere to HMH organizational competencies and standards of behavior. Qualifications
Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs. Strong sense of accountability for improving the lives of patients and caregivers. Exceptional teamwork skills. Ability and passion to deliver the highest quality of care with a patient-focused approach. Preferred Qualifications:
Previous environmental service or housekeeping experience. High School Diploma or GED. Additional Details
