Manufacturing Engineer I – Andover, MA

This role reports to the Manufacturing Engineer Manager and plans and designs manufacturing processes to maximize overall efficiency. Responsibilities include analyzing equipment layout, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization, and determining parts and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification.

What you'll do: Develop, control, and maintain the manufacturing production process including controlling design and procuring of fixtures, tooling, and capital equipment.

Responsible for continuous process improvement tracked by quality yields and standard labor costs.

Create and maintain visual aids, maintenance records, procedures and other documents.

Perform time studies on new and existing product lines.

Train supervisors, group leaders, and operators on new processes or products.

Organize production floor builds for engineering/prototypes.

Other duties and responsibilities as required.

What we're looking for: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science.

Ability to troubleshoot problems with production process parts, equipment, fixture design, Word, Excel, CAD system, and versatile.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.

A plus, but not required: SAP, Lean, Six Sigma background knowledge.

Compensation

The compensation range for this U.S.-based position is $85,552 – $95,058 annually. This position is eligible to participate in the company incentive plan. The terms and conditions of the company incentive plan will be provided to plan participants on an annual basis. Our compensation range reflects our good faith estimate of what an ideal candidate can expect, but final agreed upon compensation will always be based on the individual candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related or market factors that may prove relevant during the hiring process.
