What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Develop plain-language User Guides and Training Manuals for teachers using the online testing system

Create compelling texts and visualizations to explain system components

Infuse materials with a relatable voice and tone for K–12 educators

Recommend document designs and formats for easy information accessContribute to proposal writing by drafting and editing relevant sections

What is Required (Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Journalism, or equivalent experience

3+ years of experience in education, technology, or product writing for education products

Excellent writing and editing skills appealing to K–12 educators

Comprehensive knowledge of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing scopes

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience reporting financial, scientific, or statistical data to varied audiences

3–4 years of experience writing product descriptions and user manuals

Familiarity with authoring tools or content management systems (CMS)

Experience participating in proposal writing and tailoring content to specific requirements
