ASRC Federal is seeking a Digital Engineer to join our team at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). The successful candidate will work to convert workflows from current practices into a Digital environment. This position will help to implement digital engineering to how our site operates within Configuration Management for all our Test Sites. This is a small, high-performing team and we expect the candidate to be a major individual contributor and project leader who is committed to our mission and achieving results. Key Roles

Develop AFRL MBSE practice, processes, and procedures Design, architect, build, & maintain cloud-centric digital engineering tools ecosystem Complete tasks for customers with direct labor to support contract and mission objectives Participate in growth activities and contribute content to solutions for test sites Work with Task Leadership to manage timelines, budgets, and resources, ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope Actively pursue new methods and practices Utilize project management tools to track progress and recognize key risk areas for specific programs Operate as an engaged leader who serves as a subject matter and technical expert for assigned programs and development initiatives Required Skills/experience

Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or similar technical field 2-4 years of experience in an engineering role with a focus on MBSE Demonstrated mastery of designing, architecting, integrating, and administering Digital Engineering Ecosystem toolsets (product data lifecycle management systems, product design tools, MBSE system design tools, simulation tools, validation tools, etc.) Experience developing executable architectures, system models, simulations, or analysis of architectures (Enterprise, SoS, Systems, components, etc.) Experience in object modeling or object-oriented design concepts and techniques, including exposure to either UML and/or SysML An interest in crafting digital models (defining and analyzing behaviors, interfaces, and parametric) Must have superior written and oral communication skills, and an eagerness to write compelling narratives that thoroughly articulate approaches and value Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance We invest in the lives of our employees, both in and out of the workplace, by providing competitive pay and benefits packages.
