Quality Assurance Engineer
in our
Tucson facility . We are looking for a dedicated professional who thrives in challenging environments. Our QA department focuses on process controls, metrics measurements, test witnessing, and inspecting & verification of hardware. As the QA engineer, you will be responsible for program and several site level quality assurance functions. This is an exempt, non-supervisory, full-time position. Responsibilities & Duties
Provide QA support for the development and production of lidar products in our production facility. Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Monitor, audit and provide performance reporting on the production of deliverable hardware. Investigate the causes of non-conforming hardware and software and facilitate investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Track quality assurance metrics, including non-conformances, bug reports and corrective action implementation activities. Witness and verify regression testing and product acceptance testing. Monitor and review quarterly supplier performance data. Aid in the processing of incoming material in support of production builds. Provide inspection data and quality assurance reports to senior management. Participate in all QA meetings and provide program managers and engineers with necessary data to make informed decisions. Create and document inspection plans for incoming material and in-process assemblies. Facilitate program-level MRB meetings and resolve quality issues using the TipQA Database. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Quality Engineering, Business Administration, Engineering or related field 3+ years’ experience in quality assurance 2+ years’ experience in electronics manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently and in a team Proven capability to comprehend and represent technical product specifications U.S. Citizenship and ability to acquire a TS security clearance Nice to have
Experience with Agile/Scrum development Understanding of QA process for software development, debugging and release Other considerations
