Biomedical Equipment Technician 1 receives on-the-job training while performing entry-level biomedical equipment support functions, including troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, installing, calibrating, and testing a variety of biomedical instruments, apparatus, systems, and equipment. Primary Job Responsibilities
Perform entry-level Biomedical Electronics work, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, installing, constructing and testing analog and/or digital electronic equipment or apparatus used in the patient care, and clinical areas of a healthcare facility. Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness Respond promptly to customer needs Meet productivity standards set by the department Schedule and oversee third-party repair as necessary Exhibit ability to learn and apply new skills Required Position Qualifications
An Associate's Degree in Electronics, Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field Equivalent education/experience may be considered About Harborview Medical Center
