The Manufacturing FCG (Ford College Graduate) Rotational Program Manager is responsible for the strategic leadership and day-to-day operational execution of the FCG rotational program within Manufacturing. This role serves as the central point of contact for program participants, leaders, HR, and University Relations, ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience that supports the development and retention of future manufacturing leaders. The Program Manager drives key activities from recruiting and hiring through rotation management, performance tracking, and continuous program improvement. Responsibilities

Manages a 3-year rotational program of 65-75 associates globally. Lead the Manufacturing FCG (Ford College Graduate) Program. Oversee day-to-day program management, serve as the system reporting manager for all 90+ FCGs, and drive key program activities and KPIs. Consolidate management from multiple leaders to one dedicated leader to streamline execution, improve program quality, and free up time for core priorities. Build a strong FCG brand and leadership pipeline aligned with internal (PD and HR) and external benchmarks (GE, JCI, JnJ, JD and GM). What you’ll do

Recruitment and Onboarding Partner with skills teams to develop and manage the FCG and Summer Intern demand forecast. Collaborate with University Relations on recruiting strategy, including targeted schools. Align with stakeholders on FCG and Summer Intern candidate profiles, job descriptions, and interview guides. Solicit and manage interview panels for FCG and Summer Intern candidates. Track and report on hiring progress against targets. Solicit and assign Summer Intern work plans. Order IT equipment for FCGs and Summer Interns. Oversee pre-boarding communications for Summer Interns and FCGs. Support the Manufacturing FCG Committee with new hire onboarding sessions. Assign new hire FCGs to a Program Mentor for the three-year program duration. Assignment Management and Offboarding Manage the temporary six-month relocation process for relocating FCGs. Solicit FCG work plans from Assignment Leaders on a regular cycle (e.g., January and July). Manage FCG preferences and assign rotations accordingly. Lead Assignment Leader Training each rotation cycle on Assignment Leader Agreement. Support Manufacturing FCGs with offboarding by understanding career aspirations and aligning to job openings at graduation. Performance & Development Serve as the reporting manager in HCM for all FCGs. Provide coaching to foster FCG development and ensure they feel supported throughout the program. Coordinate mid-year and year-end FCG performance calibrations with HR. Plan annual compensation awards for FCGs. Track progress of FCG curriculum requirements (e.g., in Degreed) to assess promotions and identify gaps. Coordinate training opportunities for FCGs with relevant leads. Manage the process for identifying and selecting Capstone projects aligned with strategic objectives and coordinate project teams. Support Manufacturing FCG Committee with planning and executing professional development events. Lead the reward and recognition strategy for the program. Program Metrics and Continuous Improvement Benchmark internal Ford FCG programs and external development programs to identify best practices and inform enhancements. Distribute and analyze mid-rotation and post-rotation feedback surveys to drive improvements. Analyze Assignment Leader survey results to provide feedback and inform leadership selections. Pull FCG Program KPIs quarterly and present results and improvement actions to the Manufacturing FCG Operating Committee. Qualifications

You'll have Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a Manufacturing-related field 5+ years of Manufacturing experience in a management position Experience working in a manufacturing plant environment Even better, you may have Proven ability to manage multiple complex processes and stakeholders simultaneously Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience presenting data insights and recommendations to leadership Ability to influence and build relationships across different levels of the organization You may not check every box, or your experience may look different, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!
