Overview
Corvid's S&T Group is looking to add an experienced Production Manager to support our growing portfolio of munition products. The candidate in this role will lead the production of our munition products on time and on budget while meeting quality requirements. This position will require a thorough understanding of working a product from concept to production, understanding where engineering, business operations, and production processes intersect - efficiently driving ability to produce reliable, cost-effective munitions to the warfighter. Responsibilities
Production Management - oversight of the process from raw materials through final assembly & shipment Oversee and ensure compliance with a variety of standards and requirements, including AS9100, ITAR, DoD regulations, OSHA and contract specific standards Collaborate across the organization to support organization planning, staffing, process improvements, and more Reinforce a culture of safety and quality - encourage appropriate standards and actively advocate for required training This role will provide direct leadership for production staff - including supervisors, machine operators and technicians. In addition to the leading their staff, candidate will need to work with other groups to help facilitate a growing manufacturing operation - helping other programs through similar challenges. Requirements
Candidate must be a US Citizen and meet eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a secret clearance Position requires a Bachelors Degree in a STEM discipline and at least 7 years of experience in a production environment (specific experience and leadership may substitute for degree requirements) Experience and fundamental understanding of production planning, scheduling, and shop floor control need to be demonstrated through previous experience Understanding of DoD contracts, ITAR compliance, and defense production environments is required Candidate must demonstrate experience working in AS 9100 or ISO 9001 Quality Systems, experience with Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement is strongly desired Demonstrated ability to lead through timely decision making and strong communication skills About Corvid
