QA Automation Engineer Dealerware’s team is currently hiring for a QA Automation Engineer. We are looking for a manual frontend/backend QA tester who is excited to take on automation projects and is looking to grow.
Responsibilities
Manually test changes to frontend and backend code
Collaborate with developers to ensure test coverage and quality standards
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in test automation and CI workflows
Participate in SCRUM ceremonies
Take a sense of ownership of the quality of your domain
Develop and execute API tests using Postman
Integrate automated tests into CI pipelines (i.e., CircleCI)
Document test cases, procedures, and results
Peer Qualities
Have a sense of ownership over the product
Are actively involved in the development of SCRUM ceremonies
Adheres to JIRA ticketing standards and has familiarity with JIRA flows
Are self‑motivated and independent
Have strong problem‑solving skills
Have excellent communication & collaboration skills
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in software development or QA automation
2+ years of experience developing using Git version control
2+ years of experience with CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., CircleCI, GitHub Actions)
2+ years of developing backend API tests (e.g., Postman, GraphQL)
2+ years of using test case management tool (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)
3+ years of QA experience
Experience with AWS
Experience with database seeding and test data management
Experience in the automotive industry or with automotive SaaS applications
Even Better If You Have
Experience with frontend testing tools (WebDriverIO or Playwright)
Experience with mobile automation frameworks (Flutter or Dart)
Experience with microservice architecture
