They lead Fiber or Personal Protection operations and personnel, supporting process optimization, efficiency, and compliance with regulations and SHE standards. The role includes overseeing production lines and support facilities, ensuring production and quality goals are met, and maintaining SHE and LTO requirements. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with SHE and Security policies, report incidents, and address unsafe behaviors. Lead by example in values and behavior, fostering a high-performance, respectful team environment. Drive manufacturing excellence through process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage administrative tasks including performance plans, reviews, hiring, and discipline. Support strategic planning, project execution, and operational efficiencies. Monitor budgets, expenditures, and participate in project teams. Ensure quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance. Develop and implement environmental and cost-saving initiatives. Collaborate with operations to meet production goals and improve performance. Train staff, communicate changes, and lead continuous improvement programs. Authorities Set departmental goals aligned with corporate objectives. Control department finances and approve work permits as authorized. Qualifications MS in a technical field with 5+ years industry experience, or BS/BA with 7+ years, or Associate’s with 8+ years. Experience leading large teams and managing performance. Knowledge of environmental regulations, budgeting, and problem-solving skills. Effective communicator with leadership abilities. Physical Demands Extended standing, sitting, walking, and manual tasks. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in loud, potentially extreme environments with PPE.
