Responsibilities include training and development needs on an ongoing basis, coordinating and teaching orientation and other training programs (e.g., Treatment Plans, Documentation, group facilitation, Handle with Care, Verbal De-escalation, CPR, AMSR, annual training, etc.). This role is also responsible for providing initial and ongoing Cerner education to facility employees and physicians.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Developing, implementing, assessing and monitoring focused orientation and education for the hospital\'s staff

Ensuring the compliance of the training and education standards for all regulatory agencies are met

Assesses staff training and development needs on an on-going basis, develops and implements training programs to meet those developmental needs

Collect and analyze data to identify, develop, implement and evaluate training programs

Faciliatory responsibilities for newly-hired employees during orientation

Completion of annual mandatory training, and ensuring competency of staff

Cerner problem tracking, resolution, enhancement requests, active participation in system testing, workflow redesign, and change management

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required. BSN in Nursing preferred.

Current RN license in the State of Florida required.

Minimum five (5) years experience as a Registered Nurse required.

Two (2) years experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.

Previous experience as a nurse educator, preferred.
