Reell Precision Manufacturing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer I or Quality Engineer II to support our commitment to delivering high-quality products that exceed customer expectations. In this hands-on role, you’ll collaborate across departments to analyze processes, implement quality systems, and support root cause analysis and corrective actions in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Primary Responsibilities
Production Floor Support: Resolve production issues regarding Statistical Process Control (SPC), discrepant material, issue containment and resolution activities. Incoming & Outgoing Quality Control (IQC & OQC): Participate in quality inspection activities for incoming components and outgoing products. Corrective Action Preventative Action (CAPA): Represent Quality and participate in CAPA activities; conduct root cause analysis and communicate with customers. Continuous Improvement: Identify and participate in continuous improvement plans for Quality using Lean and Six Sigma tools. Project Deployment Process (PDP): May participate in new product development teams and provide PDP deliverables as assigned. Customer and Supplier Contact: Resolve quality questions with customers and suppliers; prepare reviews such as 8D reports. Measurement and Correlation: Work with the metrology lab to determine measurement methods and address measurement correlation issues. Gage R&R: Prepare and conduct Gage R&Rs under guidance of Senior Engineers. Process FMEA: Prepare and conduct Process FMEA documentation under guidance of Senior Engineers. MRB: Participate in the material review board and provide quality input on discrepant materials and products; complete documentation including DPDs, IQC part reviews and inspection reports. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree in a technical major Coursework in Statistics, Materials and Manufacturing Processes Exposure to Statistical Process Control (SPC) Data and Methods Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Hands-on problem-solving skills and data analysis Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Strong focus on product and process quality Effective time and task management Clear communication and comprehension skills Willingness to learn and grow professionally Preferred Qualifications
Four years technically oriented college degree in an engineering discipline (BSME, BSMS, BSEE) or equivalent Exposure to multiple manufacturing processes Exposure to statistical process engineering techniques Exposure to metrology and calibration Experience working in an ISO registered facility Benefits
