Healthcare Construction Superintendent

to lead our on-site teams. This role is a unique opportunity to manage complex, mission-critical projects that directly impact patient care and community well-being. About the Role

The Healthcare Construction Superintendent is the on-site leader responsible for the day-to-day operations of our construction projects. You'll manage everything from scheduling and logistics to quality control and safety. This is a hands-on role that requires exceptional leadership, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and regulations of building in a live, operational healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities

Oversee all on-site construction activities , ensuring projects adhere to all plans, specifications, and regulatory standards. Manage project schedules,

material orders, and subcontractor activities to prevent delays and maintain project timelines. Enforce and promote a culture of safety , including strict adherence to OSHA regulations and healthcare-specific protocols, such as infection control risk assessments (ICRA). Act as the primary point of contact

for on-site personnel, subcontractors, and vendors, facilitating clear and timely communication. Conduct regular on-site inspections

to ensure quality standards and project specifications are met. Collaborate with project managers,

architects, engineers, and hospital staff to resolve issues and ensure project alignment. Document and report

on project progress, risks, and any on-site incidents. Qualifications

5+ years of experience

as a superintendent, with at least 2 years specifically in healthcare construction (e.g., hospitals, clinics, labs). Extensive knowledge

of healthcare construction codes, regulations (e.g., Joint Commission, AHJ), and standards. Strong leadership skills

with the ability to manage diverse teams and subcontractors. OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification

is required. Proven ability

to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents. Excellent communication

and conflict-resolution skills. Proficiency with construction management software

(e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project). Why Join Us?
