We’re looking for a

Data Engineering and Integration Manager

to oversee the delivery of

robust ,

scalable data pipelines

and

seamless system integrations . You’ll lead a

talented team

and collaborate closely with

business and technical stakeholders

to ensure our

data infrastructure

supports

analytics ,

AI/ML , and

reporting

needs.

Your key responsibilities

Lead the delivery of high‑quality data engineering and integration solutions, balancing immediate priorities with long‑term strategic goals and acting as the link between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes and modern architectures (Data Warehouse, Lakehouse), ensuring reliable data ingestion, flow and interoperability across systems and platforms.

Oversee integration activities, managing tools and suppliers to standardise, automate and optimise data exchange, while ensuring data governance, quality, and compliance.

Support data‑driven initiatives, enabling AI/ML, analytics and reporting through a robust data infrastructure aligned with the Business Intelligence strategy.

Lead and develop the team, managing budgets and supplier performance and keeping ahead of evolving technologies, tools and best practices in data engineering and integration.

About You You bring

extensive experience in data engineering leadership

and a

strong technical background , combined with a proven track record of aligning

data initiatives with business priorities . You’ll have a solid academic or professional foundation in Computer Science, Data Engineering or Information Systems, alongside demonstrable expertise working with major

cloud data platforms

such as Azure, AWS or GCP.

In this role, you’ll draw upon your

deep knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes and Lakehouse architectures , as well as your experience designing and deploying

ETL/ELT pipelines , DevOps practices and

real‑time streaming technologies . You should also be comfortable working with

integration methods

(APIs),

data services

and ensuring

seamless system interoperability .

Key requirements

Strong understanding of

data governance ,

GDPR compliance

and

metadata management .

Experience managing

supplier performance

and

third‑party IT contracts .

Project and delivery management skills using Agile and/or Waterfall approaches.

To be successful, you’ll be an

excellent communicator and stakeholder manager , capable of engaging and influencing at all levels. You’ll combine

strategic thinking

with

strong analytical and problem‑solving skills , enabling you to drive best practice in data engineering and integration across the organisation.
