We are seeking a
Senior Electrical Estimator
to lead the estimating efforts for large-scale electrical construction projects in the commercial and industrial sectors. This position requires a deep understanding of complex electrical systems, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to produce accurate and competitive estimates for projects ranging from healthcare, data centers, mixed-use, distribution centers, infrastructure facilities, and commercial complexes. Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of detailed electrical cost estimates for design-build, plan/spec, and negotiated bid projects. Analyze drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare accurate time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. Develop scopes of work and assist with preconstruction planning and scheduling. Coordinate and solicit bids from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors. Conduct value engineering assessments and identify cost-saving opportunities. Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess existing conditions and risk factors. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients throughout the bidding and handoff process. Maintain and update historical cost data and estimating databases. Mentor junior estimators and contribute to department process improvements. Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Minimum 5 years of electrical estimating experience in construction Proficiency with estimating software (e.g. Accubid Classic, Live Count, Trimble), and MS Office Excellent multi-tasking, analytical, organizational, negotiation & communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism Compensation
