As Production Group Leader, you will lead and facilitate shipping and/or receiving crews, participate in the process as needed, assist in department operations, perform workflow coordination, and handle administrative duties to ensure a successful workplace. You will support daily operations of selection, replenishment, and stocking within the distribution center. Duties And Responsibilities

Perform administrative duties and act as department supervisor in the supervisor's absence. Perform workflow/load coordination to ensure the department operates properly. Plan, organize, delegate, and follow up on associates’ job duties. Complete required paperwork in a timely manner. Ensure all areas are safe, orderly, and effective. Assist the supervisor with interviewing and hiring new associates (if applicable). Perform own shipping and/or receiving tasks while ensuring crew tasks meet standards. Assist in training other shipping and receiving associates on required tasks. Ensure crew follows safe work practices. Make recommendations to improve procedures/processes to maximize efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs. Ensure compliance with ADUSA Distribution standards in accuracy, safety, and productivity. Qualifications

Able to reach, stoop, bend, and lift up to 60 lbs. Able to stand for long periods. Able to work in a warehouse with varying conditions (cool temperatures, concrete floors, powered industrial trucks). Provide feedback to associates on personal performance. Preferred Requirements

High School education. Certified on powered industrial equipment where applicable. Familiarity/experience in a distribution environment. Computer literacy. Other Skills and Abilities

Excellent customer service, communication, verbal and written skills. Use time management to prioritize tasks based on available talent. Demonstrate effective leadership skills. Able to meet production standards set by the company. Able to read and understand written and numeric product identifiers. Able to perform and coach all listed responsibilities without supervision.
