Entry Level Technicians start at $16/hr; experienced or Master Techs can earn $100,000+. Responsibilities
Examine and diagnose vehicles Discuss repairs with shop foreman or service advisor Communicate additional service requests to service advisor Plan work with shop foreman Provide labor estimates Monitor repair times and update service advisor Follow dealership policies on vehicle care Complete documentation for repairs Mentor technician trainees Attend training sessions Stay current with factory bulletins Follow all safety and environmental regulations Qualifications
High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience Operator Driver's License & State Inspection License Benefits
