Plant Manager - Plastics Manufacturing - Base Salary to 150k/year - Georgetown, SC Our client is a plastics manufacturer in the porch, outdoor & garage door screening industry. The company specializes in profile extrusion while utilizing various recycled fibers and materials to assist with stability of the product. The team is seeking a Plant Manager who will have complete oversight of facility operations including: production, logistics, safety, quality, material planning, team development, and shipping. Responsibilities: Drive operation excellence while supporting the team with new growth initiatives Assist with bridging the gap between R&D and manufacturing for new product lines Production planning and scheduling Inventory management Develop and maintain quality control system Participate in new product development and new product lines to launch into market Establish company metrics and production goals Maintain OSHA and other regulatory guidelines Assist with growth of team - hiring, training, continuous development Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree preferred 5+ years experience in plastics profile extrusion Robust background in plastics extrusion is required Plus for coming from window, door, garage door, or similar industry Complete understanding of running a manufacturing plant: production planning/scheduling, material planning, inventory management, warehouse operations, shipping, etc Familiarity with six sigma principles Compensation: Our client is offering a base salary up to 150k/year along with a comprehensive benefits package.
