Supervises and supports the activities of an aerospace manufacturing facility. Shift activity consists of CNC machining, Assembly, and Cleaning, Deburring of metal and carbon product. Shifts scheduled hours most closely resembles a hybrid 2nd/3rd in start/finish times. Very secure long term position opportunity.
Responsibilities
Maintain an environment of compliance to AS 9100/13100 requirements and company policies and procedures.
Train employees to follow company processes and procedures.
Assign work to all direct reports using scheduling software.
Monitor and maintain a productive environment.
Maintain Time & Attendance for all assigned employees.
Provide a safe workplace and address any safety issues.
Periodically evaluate employees for productivity & quality.
Communicate in a professional manner with other departments.
Schedule time off while maintaining production levels.
Administer disciplinary action when required.
Locking the building and setting security.
Maintain the Skills Matrix and complete performance evaluations.
Qualifications
3 years verifiable supervisor experience in a manufacturing facility. Machine shop experience a plus.
Must have excellent communication skills and present a positive and professional attitude.
Train and mentor new employees as required utilizing company resources.
Detail oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
