Job Description Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives for projects using lessons learned. Prepares detailed statements of work with work breakdown structures and gains concurrence and approval from internal and external stakeholders. Assesses potential project risk and outlines risk mitigation solutions. Ensures adherence to company and project management policies, procedures, and practices. Manages project costs and profitability. Identifies, quantifies, and communicates residual risk (time and cost). Creates and reviews timely client billings and follows up on outstanding invoices. Reviews and approves subcontractor/vendor invoices to ensure timely payment. Performs ongoing review of project status and monitors risks, escalating as appropriate. Manages project change using change management protocols and coordinates changes with stakeholders. Ensures proper review of project scope by safety managers and proper implementation of safety plans. Provides guidance to drafters/designers, engineers, and other project team members. Develops and implements project resource plan and staffing, including identification of outside resources and procurement processes. Communicates deadlines and objectives clearly to the project team and provides direction on timeliness and completion of project objectives. Coaches project staff and escalates performance issues as needed. Builds and maintains strong client relationships and ensures client satisfaction by delivering quality, on-time outcomes. Identifies opportunities for change orders and repeat business through strong project execution and client relationships. Works with sales leaders to evaluate potential new work and supports scoping and costing efforts. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree. (10 years of related experience is required.) PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. Travel frequency depends on duties and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Experience with project management methodology including budget development, planning, control and assurance methodologies; project management software; and finance and accounting concepts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. In-depth knowledge of project goals, drivers, strategies, risks and opportunities. Good interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and clients. Ability to interact with many people and process a large volume of requests. Strong computer skills including MS Word and Excel. Strong organizational skills to balance and prioritize work. EEO Statement
