Position Summary We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to help shape the built environment — from concept to construction. In this role, you'll lead the design of roads, sites, drainage systems, utilities, and erosion control solutions across commercial, retail, institutional, and recreational projects.

What You’ll Do
Collaborate with clients, agencies, and internal teams to deliver effective solutions
Tackle projects from concept sketches to final construction plans
Design and develop civil site plans, grading, stormwater systems, erosion control, and utility layouts
Navigate permitting and coordinate with planning boards, municipalities, and utility providers
Write and review technical documentation, including drawings and specifications
Ensure compliance with local ordinances and manage approval processes
Support construction with estimating, scheduling, and field coordination
Contribute to a positive team culture with project managers, engineers, and designers
Perform site visits, inspections, and field reports as needed
What You Bring
Strong communication skills — written and verbal — with a knack for explaining technical details clearly
Experience working with both public and private clients
Familiarity with AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred) and stormwater modeling tools
A solid understanding of land development workflows and regulatory landscapes
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with attention to quality and deadlines
Requirements Education / Experience
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited college
Professional Engineer’s License required
5+ years of experience on site/civil projects
Strong technical background
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AES, WaterCAD, HydroCAD, Excel, or similar software
