Building Operating Engineer

What’s the Job
Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across all systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Fire, and Life Safety systems.
Monitor equipment readings, make adjustments, and record data to maintain system efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety policies, proper handling of hazardous materials, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Coordinate with outside contractors, monitor work quality, and manage inventory of tools and instruments.
What’s Needed
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
2+ years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.
EPA 608 Type II Certification required; EPA 608 Universal Certification preferred.
Proficiency in computer applications such as Word and Excel.
