Job Responsibilities
Perform and support the operation of various processes to manufacture Lyten 3D Graphene materials.
Perform and support the application of coatings to include mixing, spraying, curing, and item inspection throughout the process.
Routine Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues with machinery and equipment, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Repairs: Address any breakdowns or malfunctions in equipment and machinery promptly to minimize downtime.
Documentation: Maintain records of all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date.
Safety: Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with safety protocols and regulations.
Tools and Equipment Management: Keep all tools and equipment in good working condition and ensure that the work area is clean and organized.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest best practices, tools, and technologies related to maintenance and repair.
Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team to ensure that maintenance activities are scheduled at convenient times, causing minimal disruption.
Recommendations: Suggest improvements to enhance the lifespan and efficiency of equipment and machinery.
Vendor Relations: Coordinate with external contractors and service providers when necessary, ensuring quality work at a reasonable cost.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (unrelated field) OR
Associate degree (unrelated field) AND 1+ year of relevant experience in fast growth manufacturing or machining environments, control systems, or a related area OR
Military AND 1+ year of relevant experience in fast growth manufacturing or machining environments, data entry, purchasing, with control systems, or a related area OR
High School Diploma or equivalent AND 2+ years of relevant experience in fast growth manufacturing or machining environments, data entry, purchasing, with control systems, or a related area OR
Equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Experience in a manufacturing or painting operation
Ability to read and understand technical manuals and blueprints.
Excellent problem‑solving skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be a team player and able to work under minimal supervision.
Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in a laboratory environment.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, lab coats, safety glasses, and respirators as required.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time during laboratory experiments and battery assembly.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Compensation Range Expected base salary range: $31.63 – $47.50 per hour. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job‑related factors that may include location, relevant prior experience and/or education, or particular skills and expertise.
