Electrical Designer – Commercial Interiors (NYC | In-Office)

We’re hiring two Electrical Designers to support the design and coordination of electrical systems for high-end commercial interiors. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Midtown Manhattan, ideal for someone with strong Revit and AutoCAD skills and experience working on fast-paced, design-driven projects.
About the Role You’ll work under the direct supervision of the Lead Designer or Engineer, contributing to all phases of project delivery—from schematic layouts to construction administration. You’ll also support junior team members, coordinate with consultants, and ensure design quality and code compliance across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
Create high-quality schematics and layouts based on company design principles
Perform surveys, calculations, equipment selections, and layouts
Review shop drawings, conduct field observations, and prepare reports
Train and mentor junior team members
Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, consultants, and clients
Ensure deliverables meet project timelines and technical standards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required)
4+ years of experience in a professional engineering design role
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
Experience with commercial/corporate interiors (required)
Strong communication and organizational skills
PE license preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $49.00/hr.
