Municipal Water & Wastewater Project Manager — New York State Full-time position focused on managing municipal water and wastewater projects, including preliminary and final design, bidding and construction phase services, within the Water Market Sector in NYS and the Northeast region, with emphasis on water and wastewater treatment facilities, pipelines, pump stations, solids treatment, and master planning. Responsibilities
Manage people and projects as well as generate new business with clients. Contribute to the sustainable financial growth of Ramboll and develop followership. Lead high performance teams to resolve conflict and negotiate positive outcomes. Mentor future leaders and motivate employees. This position is responsible for implementing projects within the Water Market Sector in New York and the surrounding Northeast region with a focus on water and wastewater treatment facilities, pipelines, pump stations, solids treatment, and master planning. The Project Manager is expected to manage people and projects, generate new business with clients, contribute to Ramboll’s sustainable financial growth, develop followership, lead high performance teams, resolve conflicts, negotiate positive outcomes, mentor future leaders, and motivate employees. Qualifications
Strong technical background and experience in design, evaluation and construction of water and wastewater treatment and pumping facilities. Proven project leadership, project management (scope, schedule, and budget) and mentoring skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrated successful track record in exceptional client services. B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering Professional Engineering license in New York required with ability to obtain multiple licenses through reciprocity. Personal qualities
Strong personnel development skills with experience managing and mentoring people in management, engineering, and design positions. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. An excellent team player with the ability to function effectively in a variety of roles on integrated project teams. Additional information
