Overview
The Pipeline Engineer leads design, installation, and optimization of midstream assets including pipelines, pump stations, and compressor facilities. You’ll create route plans, hydraulic models, and stress analyses while supporting project cost estimates and construction packages. Responsibilities
Design and manage construction of transmission and gathering pipelines Ensure regulatory compliance across DOT/PHMSA and ASME codes Collaborate with operations, integrity, and project teams to optimize flow Work cross-functionally with environmental, integrity, and control-room teams to ensure safe, compliant operations Contribute to bid evaluations, material selection, and commissioning support to ensure lifecycle efficiency Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering 5–10+ years of experience in pipeline design and construction Familiarity with ASME B31.4, API 1104, and PHMSA 49 CFR 195/192 Experience using AutoPIPE, CAESAR II, or similar stress analysis tools Strong understanding of right-of-way, permitting, and field inspection About Us
