Overview
The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor (2nd Shift) manages day-to-day Maintenance Operations including fleet repairs, diagnostics, fleet supply, inventories, time and attendance of maintenance staff, record keeping, communication, mentoring, and guidance. The position reports directly to the Fleet Maintenance Manager. Job Description
Notify management/supervision of any observed safety hazards or adverse conditions of existing safety equipment. Ensure all personnel use applicable company-issued personal protective equipment. Follow safety policies and procedures; participate in monthly safety/task-specific meetings and address hot spot topics as designated. Handle liquid storage of bulk and waste products using sound environmental BMPs. Determine root causes and provide appropriate solutions, focusing on results. Ensure all repairs and maintenance are recorded accurately and timely. Work effectively with others at all levels in a positive manner on an ongoing basis. Stock, inventory, monitor, and maintain all departmental maintenance parts and supplies. Maintain professional appearance of company equipment and quality of repairs; schedule tasks to achieve this level. Report excessive labor requirements to management to facilitate on-time scheduling. Report deficiencies or observations that affect performance or day-to-day tasks to management. Recognize employees’ successes and encourage better performance through regular recognition. Discipline employees relative to consistency and fair application as needed. Exhibit confidence and enthusiasm and take action to achieve goals beyond what is required. Build interpersonal and professional relationships; coach, develop, and mentor staff. Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or G.E.D. Trade School Certification. ASE Certifications. 5+ years’ experience in a maintenance environment. 2-3 years in a leadership role. Experience with parts and inventory. Excellent organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Office applications and computer-based maintenance tracking systems (Dossier, EMS, CFA). Professional conduct and behavior. Strong customer service attitude, communication skills, and ability to work with a variety of people. Valid Class C driver's license. Acceptable driving record. Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations. Preferred Qualifications

Problem solving, oral/written communication, analytical ability, organization, concentration, eye/hand coordination, and interpersonal abilities continuously. Sitting, standing, and walking frequently. Handling, balancing, bending, crouching, kneeling, pushing, and reaching occasionally. Exposure to dust, smoke, fumes, odors, noise, grease, oil, hot/cold temperatures, and vibration continuously. Exposure to electrical hazards, chemicals, standing on concrete, and uneven or slippery surfaces frequently. Works inside and outside. Schedule
3PM - 12:00AM Mon - Fri + Every other Saturday. Annual Salary
