Job Description (General Summary) The Intralox Quality Department is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to lead the management of manufacturing complaints and serve as the product quality lead for one of our specialized product groups. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on product performance and customer satisfaction while working in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment. This position is not eligible for sponsorship. This position is required to be onsite at our facility in Harahan, LA. Frequent travel to our Hammond, LA site may be required, and occasional domestic and international travel may also be required.

Responsibilities and Requirements Responsibilities

Lead Improvement Initiatives - Drive key success factors and continuous improvement efforts across operations

Oversee Customer Complaint Resolution - Manage root cause investigations and ensure timely, effective closure of manufacturing-related customer complaints

Monitor and Improve Quality Metrics - Track trends in key performance indicators and apply quality tools to improve results within your assigned product group

Manage Product Specifications - Coordinate updates and maintenance of product specifications for your assigned product group

Optimize Processes and Documentation - Improve procedures and documentation to enhance quality and efficiency

Champion New Quality Technologies - Research and promote the adoption of innovative quality tools and technologies

Enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) - Identify and lead improvement opportunities within the current QMS

Support RMA and Inventory Processes - Assist with Returned Merchandise Authorization reviews and the return-to-stock process

Requirements

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial, Quality, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering

4+ years of experience in manufacturing quality and/or plastics injection molding

Technical Skills

Proficiency in software tools like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SigmaXL, InfinityQS

Preferred Qualifications

Professional certifications (e.g., ASQ, QAI, CSSC)
