Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is developing an LNG production and export facility on the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas. Bechtel brings LNG EPC capabilities and an integrated self-perform model to deliver complex projects in LNG, energy, infrastructure, and related markets. Job Summary

In this role, you will provide project field engineering specialization and expertise with work planning and packaging, material management, quantity verification and validation, safety and quality control, technical inspection and testing knowledge, and subcontract coordination. Your recommendations will ensure field engineering activities operate safely, are complete, and conform to quality standards and project requirements. Major Responsibilities

Work Planning & Packaging: Prepares construction drawings and sketches. Leads preparation of construction drawings and schedules and the design of temporary construction facilities and ensures preparation of "as built" drawings and other job plans. Material Management: Initiates requisitions for field purchases. Prepares quantity takeoffs of field purchased material and equipment. Quantities: Verifies commodities on quantity tracking systems or other computer database systems as required. Safety / Quality Control: Ensures zero accident philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely. Technical: Proactively considers continuous learning or shows interest to pursue appropriate learning activities. System Turnover Coordinator: Develops firm understanding of system and area scoping and drawings required for package development. (For Direct Hire) STR / Subcontract Coordinator: Reviews and approves inspection test plans; coordinates reviews of subcontractor submittals. Education And Experience Requirements

Required bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience. Required Knowledge And Skills

Experience installing instruments and tubing. Experience performing I/O and loop checks. Experience in leading a team. Experience managing subcontractors and a craft labor force is preferred. Experience working on the U.S. Gulf Coast is preferred. Ability to acquire Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC). Total Rewards / Benefits
