As a Clinical Manager, you will provide primary medical direction and coordination of professional healthcare services in a clinical setting, under the direction of the Regional Medical Director, consistent with Concentra’s medical protocols and in accordance with Concentra policies, practices, procedures and applicable regulations. Such activity will ensure the delivery of affordable, efficient, responsible and accountable healthcare of the highest quality to business, industry and patients. Responsibilities

Spends 100% of time in a center providing direct patient care, leading by example, and creating an exceptional patient experience Under the direction of Center Medical Directors or designated Staff Physicians, participates in managing medical treatment activities of the center and coordinating activities with other centers With Center Leadership Team, creates an environment of clear responsibility, authority, autonomy and accountability Mentors back office staff to enhance competencies through education/training opportunities Ensures staff properly implements clinical policies and procedures Ensures documentation in the medical record is timely and reflects appropriate assessments and reassessments Meets with Regional Medical Director and/or Area/Associate Medical Director regularly to discuss quality of patient care and review policies, records and performance Ensures licensure, certification, and accreditation compliance Participates in hiring for Center Administrators, Therapists and back-office personnel Provides budgetary oversight to ensure medical responsibility aligns with operations Sponsors inter-disciplinary collaboration and cross-functional teamwork to enhance center results Analyzes reports and test findings; prescribes or administers treatment; maintains case histories and health records Develops, implements, and monitors medical surveillance protocols for client companies Participates in orientation of new center therapists Facilitates team-based medical care between therapists and the Clinical Manager Works with Therapy Director and center Therapy team to implement best practice patterns Monitors outcomes to ensure efficient and appropriate case management by medical staff Participates in leadership meetings to review clinical effectiveness, occupational reports and clinic growth plans Meets with employers to discuss health and safety needs; conducts on-site assessments and develops client relations Communicates with client representatives regarding employer patients’ initial injuries and status changes Develops and presents educational programs to client base Participates in new business development Responds to client needs, requests, concerns and complaints Delivers excellent customer service to patients, clients and peers, upholding Orange Book values Strives to exceed customer and patient expectations as measured by NPER/NPS/TATs Ensures accurate, timely documentation and quality assurance checks Provides compassionate patient experiences regardless of patient volume Manages time, prioritizes and multi-tasks in a busy environment Adapts to changing business needs and schedules Delivers quality care in a busy clinical setting Assists in other areas to ensure excellent patient experience seeks ongoing clinical training and self-development Communicates effectively with patients, clients, supervisors and peers Understands client needs and acts accordingly Maintains personal excellence and accountability Holds self and others accountable and supports colleagues to achieve results This job description is not designed to cover all activities and responsibilities; duties may change with notice. Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program or passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE) Current licensed nurse practitioner or physician assistant in the appropriate state and maintains licensure throughout employment Job-Related Experience

Customarily at least two or more years of experience in occupational medicine, urgent care or an emergency setting Job-Related Skills/Competencies
