Job Summary and Qualifications
Adapt techniques to patients of all ages, respecting cultural and spiritual needs. Position and prepare patients for exams. Perform procedures, assess patients, and respond to needs. Complete documentation for each study. Operate PACS and computer functions. Follow safety and aseptic protocols. Understand Universal protocols. Use professional judgment and critical thinking. Participate in training and instruct students. Operate radiation equipment in various environments, including fluoroscopy, OR, emergency, portable exams. Perform advanced procedures in mammography, dexa, fluoroscopy, pediatric fluoroscopy, hybrid-OR, mobile CT, robotic spine, and advanced orthopedics. Perform computed radiography functions. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications required: Current ARRT registry. Current advanced CT registry. Radiologic Technologist certification by Kansas within 90 days of hire.
