Education: Master\u2019s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program Licensure/Certifications: Must have an active New York State NP license and Board Certification as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner Experience: Open to new graduates; experience in pain management, primary care, or internal medicine is a plus Technical Skills: Proficiency in chronic pain management and preventive care Soft Skills: Strong communication, empathy, and ability to work in a collaborative team Key Responsibilities
Record patient medical history and symptoms Create patient care plans and contribute to existing plans Perform physical exams and patient observations Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols Educating and counseling patients and their families
