Overview Banner Health , one of the country’s premier non-profit health systems, is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for an employed Occupational Medicine position in the Northern Colorado Front Range. Providing a full range of clinical Occupational Health services, including the evaluation and treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses, and the performance of specialty examinations and guidance with relevant regulations to patients, employers, and payors of Banner Occupational Health Services (BOHS).

Position Details:

Responsibilities

Treatment and care of occupational injuries

Specialty examinations such as employment physicals, DOT physical exams, executive physical exams, return to work exams, and fit for duty exams

Experience and ability to treat Occupational Health injuries and illnesses (laceration and minor wound treatment and care, general injury care, post-exposure care)

Predominantly scheduled visits with low frequency of non-emergent walk-in injuries

Anticipate 1-hour new patient visits and 30 min follow-ups

Four-day work week, which allows you to explore all of what Northern Colorado has to offer

Low turn-over in staff and 20+ years longevity in position which ensures great support

Excellent in-house specialists encouraging good communication and efficient delivery of care

Partnering with employers and payors to protect the health of workers

Per Diem (employed position not 1099 eligible)

Salary Range: $60 - $68 (dependent on experience)

Qualifications

NP or PA-C designation (AANP/NCCPA)

Current prescribing privileges, including a DEA license for controlled substances required

Current CO license or eligibility

BLS required

Prior experience in Occupational Medicine or related fields such as Orthopedics or Urgent Care (preferred)

DOT Certification, or within six months of hire (all providers)

Level I Colorado Workers Compensation Accreditation for APs and RNPs, or obtain within 6 months
