has an opportunity for a pediatrician to join our team, providing care at Mid-Valley Children’s Clinic and
Samaritan Albany General Hospital , located in Albany, OR. Our award-winning health system provides exceptional primary care and a range of specialty services throughout the mid-Willamette Valley and Central Oregon coast. The network serves approximately 300,000 residents in Linn, Benton, and Lincoln counties. Our skilled providers have a passion for building healthier communities through world-class, compassionate health care.
Responsibilities
Outpatient primary care with opportunity for nursery/inpatient call.
The hospital is located across the street from the clinic.
Cohesive, well-established 9 physician team share patient panels and collaborate closely.
Samaritan Albany General Hospital has a level II nursery & 430 births per year.
Nurse triage and evening clinic staffing mean call nights are quiet.
Services offered by clinic include social worker, mental health specialist, asthma educator, care coordinator, and lactation support.
Socioeconomically diverse patient population with a large percentage of publicly insured patients.
Opportunity to work with medical students and residents.
34 patient contact hours weekly includes a combination of days, plus rotating evening clinic hours.
Qualifications
Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician
Children’s hospital-based residency preferred
Should be comfortable working with an economically varied population
Should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team-oriented
Eligibility to work in the United States
Compensation and Benefits Financial incentives include starting bonus, relocation, and loan assistance funds, all available as soon as your first payroll check.

Location Albany is in the Willamette Valley. Albany offers direct access to all areas of the state and serves more than 50,000 residents. It is close to Corvallis, home of Oregon State University, with access to cultural opportunities of a college town and D1 athletics. It is within easy driving distance of mountains, rivers, Oregon wine country, and the Oregon Coast. Nearby cities include Portland and Eugene.
