$176,000.00-$220,000.00 The Department of Pathology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine invites applicants for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Professor to lead independent research program(s) in the broad area of Pathology. Applicants should have a doctoral degree (e.g., MD, PhD, DVM, etc.) in a relevant scientific discipline with evidence of an ability to obtain independent funding and to grow and sustain their research program. For those with an MD or MD/PhD degree, and interest, clinical activity at Montefiore can be incorporated into the position. Areas of focus (Einstein Strategic Plan)
Immunology including the application of immunotherapy approaches to the therapy of various diseases Cancer relevant areas including (but not limited to): cancer biology, immunology of cancer and cancer treatment, the role of microbiomes in the pathogenesis or maintenance of cancer, and imaging mass spectroscopy in cancer diagnosis Infectious Disease including emerging infectious diseases, parasitology, and immune pathogenesis of infections Albert Einstein College of Medicine, located in Bronx NY, is part of the Montefiore Health Care System and is ranked as one of the nation\'s top biomedical institutions providing facilities in research, patient care, and education. In compliance with NYC\'s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range is $130,000 to $220,000.
