Responsible for delivering age- and specialty-appropriate medical care through assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, recognition and prevention of adverse events, treatment, and follow-up. Performs responsibilities in four practice areas: clinician, teacher, leader, and professional development. Collaborates with colleagues and other professionals to ensure safe, effective, efficient, and patient-centered care, aiming for positive patient outcomes. Monitors quality of care through customer service and performance improvement, demonstrating positive outcomes. Provides leadership within the LPG practice location and throughout Lee Health. Communicates effectively with patients, families, caregivers, multidisciplinary team members, medical staff, and employees. Prioritizes quality and safety in patient care and supports the continuum of care within LH/LPG. Requirements
Educational Requirements Graduate from an accredited Medical School and Residency; BC/BE Experience Required: Experience providing healthcare in international/resource-poor settings; demonstrated teaching and leadership experience with leadership potential. State of Florida Licensure Requirements Medical Doctor Additional Licensing Requirements Currently licensed or eligible in Florida as a Physician Certifications/Registrations BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support) ACLS (American Heart Association / Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Preferred:
