Auto and GL Adjuster-Complex Director
Join us as a Claims Complex Director to take on key responsibilities within a world‑class claims function. Key Responsibilities
Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate nationwide general and auto liability claims with unique coverages while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Contact insureds promptly and follow up to complete timely and accurate reserves and claim resolution.
Analyze coverage; evaluate liability and damages; establish accurate reserves throughout the file.
Maintain and manage a diary system to efficiently resolve cases.
Communicate file updates and reserves to brokers, insureds, and underwriters when appropriate; attend mediations to resolve cases.
Participate in roundtables to discuss reserves and strategy; efficiently manage and resolve assigned claim inventory.
Effectively manage the litigation process and defense counsel to ensure timely and cost‑effective outcomes.
Obtain and maintain required property and casualty licenses within three months of hire.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of general and auto liability claim experience.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience resolving moderate to high severity injury claims.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple tasks while managing competing priorities.
Willingness to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to collaborate and manage work when working at home or in the office in a flexible work environment.
Effective decision‑making skills, including the ability to recognize, analyze, and improve claims performance against standards and goals.
In‑depth knowledge of claim handling procedures, claims performance strategies, and claim best practices.
Experience handling self‑insured retentions, surplus lines coverages, and partnering with MGAs is a plus.
Multi‑state adjuster licenses are a plus.
