Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a dynamic, growing organization with a long-standing history of providing exceptional medical care in the Sacramento area, is a large multi-specialty medical group with 500+ providers. MMG operates in coordination with Dignity Health and CommonSpirit Health to deliver seamless primary and specialty care. Responsibilities
Provide occupational medicine services in a busy department, including the treatment of work-related injuries (e.g., lacerations, strains, fractures, acute eye injuries, foreign bodies) and other related conditions. Perform pre-employment physical examinations, DOT and Hazmat physical examinations, and physician-certified MRO services for employment drug testing. Conduct onsite audiometry and pulmonary function testing, and mask-fit testing; perform fit-for-duty examinations. Provide employer-requested recommendations on ergonomics, chemical exposures, and other occupational health considerations. Highlights
