Job Responsibilities
Conduct intake interviews and screenings for children and parents participating in the therapeutic program Provide community-based therapeutic supervision of visits, following established policies and procedures Conduct pre-visit and post-visit meetings, offering therapeutic supervision and education during visits Assist parents with psychoeducational workshops and skill-building in positive parenting Write accurate and detailed case notes and submit required reports to the court and program What is Required
Master’s Degree in Social Work or Psychology; LMSW or LMHP required Minimum of 2 years of supervised visitation experience or 3 years of experience working with families Knowledge of mental health, behavioral, child and family issues, and court systems Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to collaborate with other agencies and professionals Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and database software How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Therapeutic Supervised Visitation training Experience handling emergency situations independently Additional certifications in relevant therapeutic techniques or strategies Additional Information
