Your Role as a Registered Nurse (RN) You’ll provide top-notch patient care within your assigned department or unit, working with clinical managers and healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensuring safety and compassion. This role allows you to take ownership of patient care and make a lasting impact. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to create comprehensive care plans and deliver optimal outcomes. Specialties Considered Emergency Department Kern (ICU) IMCU Family Birthing Center Med Surg Areas Procedural Units Responsibilities Provide direct, compassionate patient care adhering to Legacy Health’s standards. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care. Advocate for patients through education and emotional support. Utilize electronic health systems for documentation and seamless care. Qualifications Education Graduation from an accredited nursing program. BSN strongly preferred; candidates working towards BSN encouraged to apply. BSN may be required for certain roles; clinical experience and approval from the Chief Nursing Officer are considered for RNs without a BSN. Experience At least one year of nursing experience or completion of Legacy Health RN Residency or equivalent. Skills & Qualities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency with electronic health records. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Licensure Current RN license in applicable state. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA.
