As a Class I Engineer, you will: Take regular action to keep guest rooms and areas fully operable for guest comfort and safety, and ensure a safe work environment for associates. Use your technical skills to solve problems and make repairs effectively and efficiently. Respond courteously to guest requests promptly and resolve issues to their satisfaction. Assist with grounds upkeep. Maintain safety, order, and cleanliness in mechanical areas, and keep accurate records. Qualifications:
A high school diploma with technical or vocational training is preferred. Hotel experience is a plus but not required. Knowledge of technical fields such as carpentry, painting, and electrical work is expected. Effective communication, professionalism, teamwork, and independent decision-making skills are necessary. Knowledge of Kemper Insurance Red Tag System and ability to drive a pickup truck may be required. The role involves lifting at least 40 pounds.
