Structural Project Engineer
Join our growing Structural team as a Structural Project Engineer. In this role you will work on various transportation projects with state and local transportation agencies. As a project engineer you will perform engineering models, analysis and/or designs, and supporting calculations / documentation. You will also coordinate the drafting of project elements for various clients. This position will be in our office in Milwaukee, WI. The Impact You Will Have
Collect and assimilate data and perform modeling, analysis and/or design calculations of project elements. Draw design details under direction of others. Compute quantities and demonstrate awareness of relationships to pay items. Organize calculations to be included in design files, following project standards. Coordinate drafting of an element. Perform field or site visits as needed. Develop cursory knowledge of applicable codes and standards and use of applicable CADD and Microsoft software. What We Are Looking For
B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline required PE License in Wisconsin or ability to obtain through reciprocity Certified Bridge Safety Inspector (CBSI) - not required, but preferred Minimum of 8 years of design, load rating and inspection experience Experience working with WisDOT and/or municipalities Excellent communication and client relation skills Progressive experience with developing contract and utilizing MicroStation Connects, Open Roads and Open Bridge Design software Benefits
