Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage Panasonic’s SCADA system at the Gigafactory, working with Levels I & II and senior engineers.
Manage and delegate tasks as a technical project lead.
Design and improve Ignition HMI screens, create and maintain tags, and handle database programming and design.
Design control panel layouts, generate SCADA documentation, and support system stakeholders.
Test and validate SCADA deployments and installations.
Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum 5+ years experience with SCADA systems in Ignition.
Proficiency in scripting, networking, ladder logic, and knowledge of protocols like Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, and SQL.
Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments and electrical hardware understanding.
Strong communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Agile Project Management.
Knowledge of PLC systems, preferably Mitsubishi or Omron.
Alignment with Panasonic’s core principles.
