Annual Bonus Direct message the job poster from Crestwood Recruiters We have a Senior DeltaV Engineer opportunity in our Raleigh, NC office. This person will lead the design, implementation, and project management of large-scale capital automation projects within the Life Sciences industry. This role requires proficiency with Emerson DeltaV systems and a strong technical background in designing and delivering cGMP-compliant automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complete project life cycles, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize biopharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, configuration, and commissioning of DeltaV control systems for major Life Sciences capital projects. Manage full project lifecycle — from requirements gathering to validation — ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. Architect system infrastructure, HMI graphics, and batch control strategies to meet ISA-101 and ISA-88 standards. Integrate 3rd-party equipment via Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, and OPC UA. Oversee electrical designs (MCCs, VFDs, power distribution, panel layouts) and industrial networking infrastructure. Ensure all deliverables meet GAMP5, cGMP, and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance requirements. Conduct and lead FAT/SAT testing and acceptance protocols. Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior engineers and cross-functional teams. Must Have Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Control Systems, Chemical Engineering, or related field. 8–15 years of automation/control engineering experience in Life Sciences/Pharma. Extensive hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV (design, implementation, configuration). Proficiency in DeltaV Live and DeltaV Operate. Strong knowledge of ISA-101 HMI design and high-performance graphics. Proven experience with ISA-88 batch processing and class-based configurations. Deep understanding of GAMP5, cGMP, and 21 CFR Part 11. Strong industrial networking/server infrastructure knowledge (virtualization, redundancy, cybersecurity). Experience conducting and leading FAT/SAT. Strong electrical design knowledge (MCCs, VFDs, power distribution, panel layouts). Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. Willingness to travel up to 25% and work extended hours or weekends if needed. Nice to Have Experience with Rockwell, Siemens PCS7, or Ignition. Exposure to historian solutions and advanced analytics. Familiarity with IO-Link and modern sensor communications. Working knowledge of alarm management strategies. Certifications in DeltaV, project management, or relevant automation standards. Additional Information Location:

Base salary range $145K–$170K + uncapped bonus. Benefits:
