The Position Are you a detail‑oriented problem solver with a passion for keeping things running smoothly? As a
Maintenance Planner/Scheduler , you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our operations run efficiently and effectively. Working directly with management and collaborating across teams, you’ll take charge of planning and scheduling maintenance activities to minimize downtime, optimize productivity, and ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
Review all planned work requests for the assigned area and determine the validity and accuracy of information; engage appropriate resources to set a preliminary priority.
Update equipment database, spare parts, and bill of materials information as required.
Ensure accurate data history for analysis and generate key performance indicators.
Assemble work packages to the level of detail required to execute the work.
Work with the Spare Parts team to purchase or requisition parts and define min/max spare part levels.
Analyze corrective maintenance work orders and generate proactive preventive maintenance activities.
Procure service proposals and create service work purchase orders, managing budget allocation.
Manage small CAPEX projects and/or major maintenance projects for technical facilities.
Escalate issues to the Technical Facilities Lead for work that is high priority and/or compliance‑related.
Scope jobs to obtain and organize all information required for crafts to perform work and to develop and continuously improve job plans (standard operating procedures, work instructions).
Work with the Technical Lead to determine resource availability.
Communicate schedules to all resources: maintenance, production, outside services, stores, and engineering.
Keep accurate metrics on the performance of planning and scheduling functions and provide timely reports to management.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in a technical field, preferred.
Apprenticeship program or technical school background, preferred.
Knowledge of reliability‑based maintenance concepts, preferred.
SAP Plant Maintenance experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum six years related maintenance experience.
Ability to build consensus and foster positive relationships.
Ability to communicate across functional lines and at all levels.
Problem‑solving and project coordination skills and ability to exercise independent judgment in dealing with technical matters.
Strong computer skills.
Salary The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $65,100 – $120,900 USD annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job‑related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
