Power Systems Engineer - Power Systems Studies

Position Summary The primary purpose of this position is to provide applied electrical engineering and technical expertise for customers in the areas of power systems studies, power quality analysis, installation, startup, maintenance, and repair. Responsibilities Perform power system engineering assessments of electric power systems in the areas of proficiency of protection, short-circuit calculation, arc-flash hazard analysis, design improvements of medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution systems. Assess results and prepare written report of findings, proposals, and improvement solutions. Perform electrical design improvements primarily to support upgrades of facilities’ electrical distribution system in conjunction with needs determined in the assessment stage.
